Added to the case file on July 31st, 2026, the following document is a status report regarding the current federal cyberstalking charges against Luke Wenke. Authored by Wenke’s public defender, Victoria Bahl, it states that Wenke remains interested in reaching a “pre-indictment resolution” to his case and requests an adjournment so that ongoing negotiations with the prosecution can continue.
As the latest docket report shows, the judge overseeing the case granted the defense’s request for an adjournment and set a due date of September 17th for the defense’s next status report. In the meantime, Wenke remains held in pretrial detention at the Monroe County Jail in Rochester, New York.
